The new year kicked off with a great find in Bay Pointe California on January 12th, 2010. We discovered a wonderfully unmolested all original(except the wheels) 1978 280Z which would become car # 34 affectionately nicknamed after its owner 'POE'. This car runs excellent, should have a thorough cleaning, slight body work and a new coat of paint. POE1 has arrived in Halifax and has been inspected by ZSport. Here are the high level details on this Z. Except for a small 2X6 inch hole around the passenger side drain plug, this car is great condition. VERY strong frame rails and floor boards. Body panels all straight and no bondo work on this car it was simply sanded and primered in those areas where you see 'grey' paint. Will need some interior work. Seats are in good condition with only two tears in the lining on the drivers seat. Dash looks great with a 1/2 dash cap. PERFECT resto project. Buy and drive right now. POE has been placed with a new friend(Glen) in Peterborough Ontario as of November 27, 2010. Thanks Glen! Unfortunately after only 170 springtime miles driven in Central Ontario, POE was written off in a very serious incident off Hwy #7 during the 1st week in June 2011. Nobody was injured in the accident.
