On November 2nd, 2009, we purchased car #28, a 1-family owner '64 Chrysler 300 that originated in South Dakota. "Walter" was owned by the daughter of the original owner and the car was showing 64,000 original miles. The usual phone calls, pictures by e-mail, and the consultation of heads at Z Sport resulted in Walter leaving home and emigrating to Nova Scotia.
While all consideration will be given to an open wallet, the plan is for Walter to reside at the home of club member Bruce Buntain, who bought the car for nostalgic reasons (Uncle Jack had one and on visits from Ontario, let said motorhead drive his car upon becoming legally able to drive). That and a fondness for things weird and wonderful, like Chrysler's push-button transmission selector. While Uncle Jack is now driving the Heavenly Highway, Walter P. is being lovingly refreshened and will be cruising NS roads this coming summer.
